Health Kinesiology (pronounced 'Kin-easy-ology') is a gentle complementary therapy which combines the modern technique of muscle testing with the ancient wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is a therapy that truly 'talks to your body', and your body can answer right back!
By using muscle testing, we are able to ask your body what you need right now, create bespoke corrections designed to balance your BioEnergy around the issue you want to work on, and help you towards achieving your goals.
BioEnergy is the energy that flows through your meridians, often referred to in Traditional Chinese Medicine as 'Chi'. When this energy is balanced around the issue you want to work on, this can allow BioEnergetic healing to happen naturally. HK isn't a treatment or a cure, it's a balancing technique - your body does the rest.
HK addresses every person as an individual - no two sessions are ever the same, even for people with similar issues. In a single session a practitioner may identify and rebalance BioEnergy in various ways, as well as offering tailored information on changes in life style which may help with the rebalancing of your BioEnergy.
What is HK used for?
HK is a goal-orientated therapy, which means you can use it for whatever you want. By balancing people's BioEnergy using HK techniques, we find that clients report that goal-setting is easier, goals feel more attainable, and their personal sense of well-being increases. HK is holistic, so when we're working on your work-life, we're also helping to balance your home-life, too.
Due to the new ASA (Advertising standards authority) regulations, we can no longer list those conditions clients told us we'd helped them with. If you're not sure if Health Kinesiology is suitable for you, please call me on 01638 713050 to find out more, and to ask any questions you may have.
HK can be used in the short-term for a specific issue, or it can be used over a longer period of time for self development. Self development sessions are all about building on the work we do step by step, so that you continue to develop in all areas of your life, and keep feeling balanced. Working this way is your choice and it usually involves having sessions at 2-3 month intervals, rather than the usual 2-4 weeks.
HK doesn't require you to be ill in order to use it - it can be used in all states of health, and at all ages. It's a gentle and non-invasive technique which can be used alongside conventional and other alternative treatments.
Why should you give it a go?
HK is individualised - it's bespoke therapy, and every session is tailor made for you by the answers your body gives.
HK is fast - 80% of my clients require 1-3 sessions, around 50% need 2 sessions, depending on the issue they're presenting.
HK lasts - the benefits of the sessions are lasting, without the need for constant top-ups.
During your session, you'll be gently muscle tested to find out what we need to do for you in order to balance your BioEnergy. We usually use your forearm muscle for this. The answers we get then form the work which we do with you in the session, and this may involve you needing to think certain words, concentrate on specific feelings, place your hands in specific ways or be placed into a specific position.
Clients say they find HK very relaxing, and each session is conducted with you lying down fully clothed on a treatment couch. If lying down is uncomfortable for you, sessions can be done with you sitting.
