What are your goals? Right now - what do you hope to achieve?
If you got rid of your 'blocks', then what would your goals be? What kind of life would you like to have? Where would you go, and what would you do? Run your own business? Perhaps your greatest goal is to be at peace with yourself and the world. Perhaps you'd like to have better relationships with family or your children. Perhaps you'd like to be the CEO of a multinational company!
What is blocking you? Do you even know why you aren't where you thought you could be by this time in your life?
Self development is often the key to unlocking potential. There may be myriad reasons why you feel blocked, and our conscious evaluation of our own lives, whilst interesting, may not be a true reflection of the causes of our current situation. These things often begin in childhood. Perhaps someone who you automatically trusted as someone in authority, told you when you were little 'You can't'. At such a young age we can often internalise these as beliefs about ourselves. They are undeniably powerful when we are so young.
A client of mine, who I shall call J, came to me with modest goals. She'd got herself booked on a course which she was worried she wouldn't be able to pass. She was anxious about it. We did a session, and her body requested she see me again a few weeks later. There was a little delay before I saw her again - a couple of months. When she returned, not only had she passed the first course, she had done two more and passed both of them too! She was amazed at herself, and clearly feeling more confident. We did another session, and there was to be a couple of months before I was to see her again. By the time I did, she had even bigger news for me - she was planning to move abroad and start a new life!
Do you think that her goals list included this as a goal when I first met her? Absolutely not. The thought of such a thing might even have filled her with anxiety, but once her blocks were removed, her horizons naturally expanded.
This is such a beautiful, organic process. Gentle and without the need to dig and delve into painful memories or traumas. By identifying the work to be done in a step by step way through simple muscle testing protocols, we do things in the right order to make the transition from you as you are now, to the new you, as comfortable as possible. Like an exercise regimen, it gently makes positive changes within, that create a certain poise and inner confidence. Slowly but surely, our lives begin to blossom.
