Some of you may have been directed here from my old website, which relates to my previous trade - horticulture. Elisabeth Goodwin Nurseries was the nursery I started in Girton in 1995, and moved to Suffolk in 1997. It continued to grow (if you'll pardon the pun!) until 2006 when financial strains put an end to that feeling of 'wow I love my job'. When your work, no matter how wonderful, is no longer supporting you (and in my case, mine never really had) then you have to take stock and think of a 'Plan B'.
For those of you still interested in drought tolerant plants, I know that you will find it sad that the nursery has had to close. Of course my priority now is to look after my clients, and ensure that I am financially secure.
